Accidents can happen to the best of us, especially when you have young or very active pets. Our Accident-Only plan was created to provide you with peace of mind in case an unexpected injury or accident happens! This plan a super affordable option for budget conscious families, first time pet parents, or senior pets with pre-existing illnesses. Plus, you can sign your pet up starting at just 7 weeks old with no upper age limits.
As the name explains, this plan will help reimburse you for the cost of treating sudden accident-related injuries such as car accidents, bites, burns, broken bones, and even fractured teeth. Accident-only plans will not cover breed-specific health issues or illnesses or routine/preventative care visits including wellness exams, vaccinations, or teeth cleanings.
What's Covered
If your pet suffers from an accident-related injury, we want to help provide your pet with as much medical care as necessary, with a plan that meets your personal budget and needs. Our Accident-Only plan provides coverage for the actual cost of veterinary treatment for any eligible accidental injury suffered by your Pet unless excluded by your policy.
This includes:

- Accidental poisoning
- Bite wounds & insect stings
- Broken bones
- CT scans & MRIs
- Cuts & lacerations
- Emergency Care
- Eye injuries
- Foreign body ingestion
- Hospitalization
- Laboratory tests
- Punctures
- Sprains
- Surgery
- Torn nails
- X-rays & ultrasounds

*Please note these coverages do not apply toward wellness or preventative care visits such as vaccinations, dental cleanings, and/or flea and tick preventatives. Please see Routine Care to view our wellness plan options.
*Pets who've suffered from previous illnesses such as Addison's Disease, Cushing's Disease, Cancer, Diabetes, Feline Leukemia Virus (FELV), and/or Feline Immunodeficiency (FIV) are eligible for an Accident-Only plan!
